Français (French) Club

Purpose and Services

In the French Club students learn and practice leadership, soft and interpersonal skills. Whether the student's strength (possibly future career) is in PR, management, arts, sports, education, cooking, international business or other, through its variety of projects, the French Club offers students the possibility to practice and expand those skills. Projects include community outreach, club management, cooking, arts, sports, fundraising, PR, French and Francophone research and other. In addition to Club projects, members of the French Club have historically become close friends and supported each other by attending events peer members are involved in such as IVC PAC performances or by tutoring each other.

Leadership training done in the beginning of every academic year and throughout the year, including by former officers for the incoming officers. Events that promote diversity and inclusiveness like Internationa Food Day, Dia De Los Muertos Masquerade, presentations on different Francophone countries, native French speaker guests from a variety of Francophone countries, regular communication with the Club Advisor and communication with ASIVC, fundraising and fund management.
