Purpose and Services
Our club's purpose is to enrich student life by helping students find majors that satiate their passions and need to help others with lessons rooted in Effective Altruism, a social and philosophy movement that uses research to determine the most effective ways to benefit others. This club will potentially help students find their majors faster so that they can transfer within the standard two years rather than the current average of five years.
We will educate students on the necessary skills and traits for certain major and career paths. We will increase the quality of student life by providing social events and help students network with necessary staff to help educate them on their path on and off campus.
The Effective Altruism Club (EAC) general meetings are scheduled to meet biweekly on Tuesday at 1 pm in TBD.
