Applied Science & Engineering (ASEC)


Purpose and Services

ASEC is in alignment with the mission statement because it offers all students hands-on STEM projects in a safe environment while growing other major skills including: leadership, foundational engineering, mathematics, physics, & science principles, and team building experience

ASEC holds biweekly projects and meetings in BSTIC 103, provides supplies and education for projects, hosts speakers, invites students to tour off-campus STEM facilities, connects members with potential interning positions, offers a 3D printing sub-group to all members, holds end-of-the-year elections for general members to acquire leadership roles for the following term, offers biweekly project manager opportunities for general members, coordinates yearly volunteering opportunities, and provides meeting minutes and budgets for ASIVC for club transparency.

Meeting Information

The Applied Science & Engineering (ASEC) general meetings are scheduled to meet biweekly on Friday at 2:30pm in BSTIC 104.
